Crime Alert!

This was passed on to me through the THCA:

Hello All, I just spoke to Officer Kevin Doom who is the police officer assigned to Robles Park
area. He asked me to share with the community that there have been two home invasion over the past few days, including one early this morning, where a two or three teens entered occupied homes between 2:00 am and 4:00 am in the northwest and northeast quadrants of Tampa Heights. He said that they know who at least two of the teens are and they are looking for them but they have not caught them yet. At one of the homes they entered through a burglar bared window. (I do not know the details.) He is encouraging everyone to be extra careful and very vigilant.

Please remember our discussions our meetings and by email regarding crime. Please be very
watchful and CALL, CALL, CALL, when you see any suspicious activities in and around your area. All the officers who were at our meetings encouraged us to continue to do our part. Malina has added all the updated police contact information to our website.

Hope for 2-way main roads in Tampa Heights yet!

This was passed to me a few days ago from Jay McGee, from the Seminole Heights blog.

As someone who lives ON one of these major roads, I'd really like to see the traffic cut down (if not, at least slowed down).
