Great picks, David. You're a keen judge of broadcasting genius.
ReplyDeleteToo bad there's not a category for best small business. Joe Haskins' bike shop has kept Tampa Heights rolling for over 50 years. He's a very nice guy who will put on a chain or adjust a brake while you wait without charge.
I keep wanting to go in there. Thanks for the tip. I've been considering getting a bike for a while now.
ReplyDeleteJoe comes across a little surly the few times I've met him. I never know if he's grumpy or it's just his sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteBut he ccertainly is quick and labor is cheap!
As for your "My House" choices, isn't that place closed down?
Is it? It just opened!
ReplyDeleteHouse of Soul was there, then closed, then reopened as My House by a different owner but all the same stuff. I was there less than a month ago. IS it closed?
