The Refinery set to open in Seminole Heights
While not technically in Tampa Heights, this new spot will be opening in our more popular sister's neck of the woods. Check out the details on the Creative Loafing blog.

I was a fan of the Culinary Sherpas before I was friends with them. The fact that Michelle fed me hot wings and bacon-wrapped grilled stuffed jalapenos last night in no way led to me posting this. How's that for disclosure?

Reviews?
Anyone been to Ella's yet? The Independent? Care to tell us about your experience? Send it in!
I'm curious about The Independent and meant to go in there myself on Friday night, but the storm stopped me. The only thing I seem to hear with frequency is that it's expensive. Can anyone comment?

Where ya at, Tampa Heights?
To quote David from the Seminole Heights blog, I'm in need of your "Events. Activities. Commentary. Photos. Stories. Tell us about your remodeling of your house. Issues you deal with in your daily life here. Cool things you see. The pleasures you find."
Anything at all Tampa Heights related.
You can send whatever you like here. If it is appropriate, I'll put it up. If anyone is really interested in writing, I'm also totally open to operating this blog by a team.

Support Cappy's!
We are in the same boat in many ways as Seminole Heights when it comes to a lack of businesses, particularly - good places to eat.
I think Cappy's has been a fantastic addition to Seminole Heights, and it's very conveniently located for us in Tampa Heights, too. This business could help that whole Florida Ave. corridor from MLK to Hillsborough.
Check out this story from the Seminole Heights blog.
Plus, they have dope pizzas and calzones and great salads. NUM!
